Bishopthorpe Village and Areas cover a number of villages. This part of York is a thriving area, served well by it's local community. These villages are all just south and to the west of York and have wonderful picturesque scenery, local amenities and highly regarded Primary Schools and College.
Copmanthorpe is a village just outside of York, close to the A64, and has various shops, a Primary School, parking, a local Co-op and a nearby Golf Club.
Naburn has a pub, a Primary School and a Marina.
Acaster Malbis is a very picturesque village with a local pub, a bus route into York, a Primary School and playgroup and Tennis Club.
Bolton Percy is a historic village, with a pleasent country atmosphere.
Bilbrough hosts its own children's clubs and has a bus route into York and the surrounding areas.
