Lying south of Middlesbrough, with the beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park within striking distance,  Coulby Newham has grown from humble beginnings to the most desirable of residential areas. A very popular area for families boasting a number of schools with an enviable reputation, Coulby Newham is just as suited to the young professional with superb communication links to the Tees Valley and beyond.

Coulby Newham is not short of amenities, with a variety of shops accessible at the Parkway Centre and The Rainbow Leisure Centre offering a range of activities.

Hemlington has two shopping centres nearby as well as an artificial lake which is host to a wide variety of wildlife.

Stainton is one of the few areas within the boundaries of modern-day Middlesbrough to have been named in the Domesday Book of 1086. It has been a settlement since pre-Saxon times, while its name reveals it to have been an area of Scandinavian residence.
