Once home to a number of thriving mining communities, the villages and hamlets to the West of Doncaster now reflect rural tranquillity in the gently rolling countryside of South Yorkshire.
Centrally situated between the A1 and M1 motorways, the area offers good commuter links to Leeds, Sheffield, York and Manchester. The rail links from the mainline station in Doncaster enable direct travel to London and Edinburgh and Robin Hood airport is also within easy reach.
