Frodsham & Surrounding Villages
General information
Discover all the local schools and how they measure up.
The vibrant market town of Frodsham is rich in history and many of today’s buildings stand on the original land laid out in the 13th and 14th centuries. Having gained town status in 1992, Frodsham still retains its village charms.
The town centre offers a great range of shops including local butchers, greengrocers and bakeries. Main Street, one of the widest roads in England, has played host to Frodsham Market every Thursday since the 1600s! The stalls are many and varied and run the whole length of the main street.
There are excellent primary schools in Frodsham and the surrounding villages of Helsby, Kingsley, Manley, Mouldsworth and Norley. The local high school can be found in Helsby whilst The Grange at Hartford and Kings and Queens Schools in Chester are all within travelling distance.
