Hammersmith
Hammersmith is an urban centre of west London within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. As well as being a key transport hub for west London, Hammersmith is often recognised as a centre for both commerce and employment.
Due to its position at the convergence of a key route out of central London (the A4), Hammersmith is often described as bustling; it is the home to several multinational company offices and has a busy shopping district including King Street, Shepherds Bush Road and Fulham Palace Road.
Hammersmith has an excellent range of cultural, entertainment and leisure attractions, including Riverside Studios (a cinema, performance space, bar and cafe), The Hammersmith Apollo Theatre and Concert Hall, and Ravenscourt Park, a 20 acre public park and garden, and one of the flagship parks for the Borough.
