Headingley
A thriving village in its own right enjoying all the amenities you would expect in a large town, including; a host of bars, bistors, pubs , clubs, cafes and restaurants.
With an excellent choice of shops and services, mainly concentrated around Otley Road, Headingley Lane, North Lane and a very popular local cinema on Cottage Road the area is extremely well catered for. If it's sport you're interested in then the famous Headingley Stadium plays host to the Yorkshire Cricket Club as as the Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club and Leeds Tykes Rugby Union. Beckett park provides the ideal setting and lots of green space for outdoor activities.
The range of properties available in the area is tremendous, whether you dream for a smaller stone cottage, a traditional semi or a large detached family home, there is a plentiful choice and might explain why Headingley is such a popular area for students and young professionals.
Meanwood
Bordering the bustling centre of Headingley, Meanwood is rapidly becoming Leeds hot property spot. For an area that has excellent transport links and great local amenities, property prices remain very reasonable. There are numerous terraced properties near the village centre and a large suburban development of traditional inter and post war semis along Stonegate Road.
Despite the popular local retail areas the main attraction remains the Meanwood Valley Nature Reserve, which is a large greenbelt area incorporating the Dales Way long distance footpath.
