Hunters gets Personal about Scunthorpe
Hunters Property Group, the fast-growing, award-winning York-based estate agency, has extended its network of Personal agents into Scunthorpe; it has appointed local man Andy Thompson to manage and develop the new operation.
Hunters Personal is a radical new estate agency concept, which involves franchising home-based agents to sell and let properties in their own communities.
Andy, who for the past four years has managed estate agencies in Scunthorpe and Grimsby, including The Halifax, now plans to develop the Hunters brand in the area.
“I joined Hunters because I want to offer a more personal, pro-active service to homeowners looking to sell their property,” he explained. “Having lived in the area all my life, I know it extremely well. This means vendors get the benefit of sound advice based on my in-depth knowledge of the local market.”

Hunters opened its first office in Goodramgate, York, in April 1992. It now has 16 offices and its divisions include sales, lettings, auctions, new homes, survey and franchising.
